Changes to our services for builders and home owners

A message to our clients and stakeholders

Due to COVID-19 and related restrictions, some delays may occur which will impact our timelines.

Our business remains open with all staff working remotely. We are fully technology enabled and prepared, however, there will be some changes to our usual Domestic Building Insurance (DBI) services for builders and home owners:

  • VMIA reception is operating remotely from 9.00am - 5.00pm weekdays. Contact us by phone on 1300 363 424.
  • Face-to-face meetings have been replaced with virtual meetings, phone calls and teleconferences.
  • Due to COVID-19 and related restrictions, some delays may occur which will impact our timelines. We request your patience and understanding at this time.
  • Our DBI team will respond to email and phone enquiries as quickly as possible. If you require urgent repair works, please refer to the emergency works procedure [PDF, 518KB].
  • Mail will be redirected, so will be received as usual. 

Our team is ready and able to receive your phone calls and emails as always.
